M.S preferred, B.A. or B.S. in computer science, information technology, or related discipline,
Industry relevant network and/or network security certifications
Skills Required:
Advanced knowledge and experience with full suite of Microsoft operating systems, services and
applications, including O365 and InTune / Autopilot
Advanced knowledge and experience with SCCM and MS Endpoint Configuration Manager
Advanced knowledge and experience with cloud based applications
Advanced knowledge and experience with DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policies, and OU
hierarchies
Knowledge and experience with anti-virus software and client VPNs
Knowledge and understanding of hypervisors and virtual machines
Knowledge and understanding of network routing at LAN/WAN level
Knowledge and understanding of routers, switches and firewalls
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Ability to design and architect complete solutions matching customer needs and requirements
Provide ongoing support on the resolution of customer issues
Perform manufacturer recommended updates and maintenance of the systems supported
Perform remote or onsite installation, repair and changes of systems supported
May be responsible for designing a contingency or data disaster recovery plan.
Document each customer interaction using the ticket management system
Provide timely and effective resolution to support requests based on internal and external
service level agreements; meeting SLA requirements based on measurable metrics
Provide ongoing, regular updates to customers to keep them apprised of progress toward
problem resolution
Partner with team to create and update technical documentation
Identify and propose methods to proactively handle service and support issues
Participate in off hours and on call support as directed by management
Participate in after-hours scheduled cutovers and upgrades as needed
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing service issues.
Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
